I hope there is people out there that are listening, and just like everyone here I have come to a point in my life that I can't get up anymore after so many falls, the last one my car was taken yesterdays because I was behind on 3 payments,I had either to choose paying the rent or the car, and like most people it's the little bills that get you and really make life so hard that we can never catch up. I do work full time in a nursing home and if one really looks at I should not complain about my life. I just need that help that most loaners say no because my credit is bad but they are not willing to help someone that does not make a lot ofmoney. Thank you for reading this. Maria

My daughter Kelly passed away in her sleep October30. She was Downs Syndrome and had Diabetes, arthritis, and heart desease. She was a beautiful red haired green eye darling.Because of all her medical problems sha was uninsurable. Her funeral was $6200 dollars, we paid all we could on the funeral, but still owe $4600. I am Mark. I am 47 yrs old. My wife Kathy, who is 44, has pancreatic cancer. In August 2006 when she was first diagnosed, they gave her one year to live. In October, they did a CT Scan and it showed the tumor had doubled in size despite chemotherapy. They decreased her time to maybe even as short as six months (Febraury 2007). We have three boys(8,14,16) living at home and three girls(19,21,23) who are out on their own. This is a tragedy to our family. We are receiving a small amount for SSI and a small amount for temporary assistance. However, it just isnt enough to make ends meet. I am self employed as a handyman but with having to care for my wife and wanting to spend as much time with her as possible, I cannot carry on a full work schedule. We dont have a lot of bills just the normal - house, insurance and utilities. It just seems like everytime we turn around there isnt enough money to go around. We are in the process of filing chapter 13 bankruptcy because they were foreclosing on our house. We could not afford an attorney so I am doing it myself and it is a tough road. It seems like the legal system is stacked against a person if they do not have an attorney. And nobody in the system tries to make it any easier. My wife's tumor is inoperable so they have turned us away from all major hospitals in the country. We are on Missouri Medicaid to pay the exhorbant medicine prices and it has put me in a position where I cant even go get a job because it would throw us into a no insurance situation and we would be sunk. I am trying to get help so that I can have a cash reserve to just get us by for the remaining months. I dont want to be flamboyant but I would love to be able to pay our house off. We only owe $59,000 on it. Also we would love to give it a makeover. I would love to be able to do this for my wife before she passes on. I know there are organizations that do this for people but I just dont know where to look or where to start. Also I dont want to explpoit my wifes medical condition or be greedy. Recently my husband and I purchased a house, and now I am out of a job because I am pregnant, and cant work for the time being. We are starting to get behind in our bills, and fear loosing our house we worked so hard for. I have asked my family for help, but no one is able to at this time. And due to our tarnished credit history, we do not qualify for any type of loan. If anyone know's anything that might help me out, like non repay loan, or a loan that we can repay at a later time, please let me know, I dont know what to do, and fear the worst for my young family. I am writing this for my mother her name is June and this past year has been very hard for her health and financially. She had a heart attack and also has COPD, diabetes. arthritis. She has been filing disability claims and has been denied but she can barely breath at times and spends atleast 2 weeks a month at the hospital from her medical complications. The state that we live in has a housing program but she needs to pay $300.00 and deposit to be placed on the waiting list which she does not have. My family and I have been supporting her for the last 1 and a half but I have been off of work since Feb. 06 and now I am in the process of fighting my own disability claim and can no longer afford to help her.
